Java Remote Method Invocation

Abstract
This is a brief talk on Java Remote Method Invocation (RMI). It
starts with a description of objects and references and then moves on
to remote references. What is RMI is,then explained followed by a
brief section on how to use it. The registry is then described
followed by paramater passing in both local and remote method
invocations. Finally an example use of RMI is given and the location
of RMI resources.
