Tuple-Space Based Middleware for Distributed Computing

Abstract
Tuple-spaces provide a powerful model for managing a distributed
object system. We investigate algorithmic and implementation issues
for combining independent spaces into a SuperSpace that could scale
and perform sufficiently well to be a basis for a global grid
middleware. We have used the JavaSpaces implementation and discuss
transactional integrity issues and our approach to implementing
bridging modules to connect local area spaces.
