On-Line Data Archives

On-Line Data Archives, or Digital Libraries, are collections of digital data accessible by users and applications programs. We are developing software for managing and accessing the data in digital libraries and its timely delivery to users on the Web.

We are also working on active data archives, which enable server-side processing of the data, so the server can deliver not just raw data, but value-added decision-support products.

We have developed software for managing, processing and accessing on-line active data in archives of of satellite imagery data, meteorological data, and medical data such as the Visible Human datasets. See the following related projects:
