The CROP Project aims to develop a prototype software framework to provide access to on-line archives of earth observation data for applications such as crop yield estimation.
The following image shows a Java based CROP client application interacting with a server side system to process satellite imagery data.
The project is being led by the CMIS group in CSIRO, in collaboration with Agrecon and carried out under the OLDA Program of ACSys.
