DHPC Honours and Masters Student Projects

The Distributed and High-Performance Computing Group will be offering the following research projects for students in 2006. DHPC projects are in the areas of high-performance distributed computing (grid computing), management and processing of large distributed scientific data sets (data grids), or parallel computing.

• Parallel Graph Colouring Algorithms - supervised by Paul Coddington

• Improved Parallel Random Number Generators in Java - supervised by Paul Coddington
