Distributed and High-Performance Computing (DHPC) Group |
|
DHPC is a research group in the School of Computer Science of the University of Adelaide.
The DHPC group includes full-time research staff, postgraduate students, affiliated university academic staff and affiliated undergraduate and honours students.
Our work involves research, development and education and training in distributed and high-performance computing.
The DHPC group has close ties to the South Australian Partnership for Advanced Computing. Our objectives are to investigate and demonstrate the utility of advanced distributed and high-performance computing systems to partner and collaborator organisations, and to perform state-of-the-art research and development in this area.
Our research focusses on high-performance parallel computing, grid computing (distributed high-performance computing, or metacomputing), and data grids (large-scale distributed data archives).
